If you haven’t already figured it out, you are leaving a legacy. Imagine if that legacy was giving people a sense of personal empowerment, healthy self-esteem, self-awareness, purpose and love. Imagine if what people learned from your life was how to live with full-on excitement and curiousity and passion. Imagine if your legacy was that everyone matters, every life has value, every opportunity has meaning.
So often, children are left with a legacy of self-doubt, unworthiness, under-achievement and disappointment. Some take on their parents anger and frustration and lack of self-appreciation. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can choose differently. You can make sure that your legacy is one that reflects the truth of who you are – a divine being dancing through an incredible human experience. And that will last many more lifetimes that your numbered years.
